Silver Star Injury Safety Award – NMAPC awarded to State Evansville

Steve Theodoru, VP of U.S. Operations recently had the privilege of receiving on behalf of State Group a Silver Star Zero Injury Safety award. This award issued by the NMAPC in Washington, DC recognizes excellence in the work place and the ability to perform work injury free. The State Group was recognized for the work performed at Alcoa Warrick installing the recent Scrubber project.

To put the magnitude of this achievement into perspective there were a total of 73 awards issued at this year’s event for work performed at NMA sites across North America. The 502,007 injury free man hours we achieved placed State Group 3rd from the top amongst our peers.

Congratulations to the Evansville office for their hard work and dedication toward reaching this goal and to all those who supported State’s efforts and contributed to the success of this project. It is an achievement for which you can all be proud as well as a bench mark to strive for in future projects.
